Important Notice – A Change in Direction
Greetings,
It is time for some deep reflection about the future of Fairbanks Spiritual Explorers. We have had relatively low attendance since the organization opened its doors in July 2024. Everyone who has attended has had positive feedback and were very grateful for the experience of our Wednesdays together. I am grateful to every single person that crossed through those doors and gave FSE a try out. But we’ve had two straight Wednesdays with no attendance. Something isn’t working and I’m going to try to discern what our next steps should be.
We are going to stop having meetings for a while. As of May 1, 2025 I will let you know what direction we are taking in the future. My current thinking is that we will get back together after Winter breakup in May sometime at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Fairbanks in person.
During this down time I will be consulting folks about what they need for a Spiritual alternative in Fairbanks. I will look at formats and solicit feedback on what worked and what is not working and learn from that. Please feel free to reply to this email with any feedback you may have. Every voice counts whether constructive or positive feedback.
Thank you for everyone who contributed to keeping this community afloat both in spirit and monetarily. I appreciate your support of me and my mission to bring peaceful spirituality to Fairbanks with no judgment, no rules, no agenda. Period.
Look out for another newsletter around May 1 announcing what is happening next with FSE. My hope is to keep the newsletter going during the interim so that you continue to get value from the FSE perspective on spirituality while we sit still and listen.
